What does the Telemetry Function setting do?

Telemetry Function at the top of Daniel Newman Racing > LED Devices > RPM Telemetry chooses the behaviour of the RPM bar, meaning the long run of LEDs above your DDU or wheel. There are five options.

• RPMs with Brake Pressure effect (the default). Revs on the bar, with brake pressure shown on the side LEDs.
• RPMs only. Just the rev bar, with nothing on the sides.
• Brake Pressure only. The bar is given over to brake pressure.
• Brake and Throttle Input. Both pedal inputs drawn together, which is useful for practising trail braking and for coaching.
• Fuel Gauge. The bar becomes a fuel level gauge.

Whichever you pick applies to the device selected in the picker at the top of the page. Every LED device keeps its own Telemetry Function, so your wheel can run the rev bar while a DDU shows brake pressure or the fuel gauge. Brake Pressure only, Brake and Throttle Input and Fuel Gauge are the three displays the retired Co-Pilot LED profile used to give a second device, and they are no longer behind a membership tier.

If a control on this page is greyed out, the profile that device is running bakes in its own version of it, which is common on branded wheel and DDU profiles. The plugin disables it rather than leave a switch that changes nothing.

The Fuel tab then chooses whether the fuel gauge is drawn as a Static colour or a Gradient colour, and the Brake tab controls where brake pressure is drawn and at what percentages it starts to blink.
