End User License Agreement

Use everything we make on your own rig, as much as you like, for as long as your membership runs. Do not pass it on, re-upload it, sell it, or take our name off it.

That is genuinely the whole thing. The rest of this page is the same idea written carefully enough to be enforceable.

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use DNR materials on your own setup, for your own racing. That covers every plugin, dashboard, LED profile, wallpaper and logo you download from danielnewmanracing.com.

If you hold a commercial licence from us, your rights are whatever that agreement says instead. You will know if that applies to you, because you will have signed something.

In every case, the work stays ours. A licence is permission to use, not a transfer of ownership.

Do not share the files. Not with a friend, not in a Discord, not on a file host, not bundled into someone else's pack.

Do not sell them, sublicense them, or charge anyone for access to them.

Do not decompile or reverse engineer the software, and do not strip out the copyright notices or the branding.

None of this is about being precious. Every profile is weeks of work funded by people paying for it, and a copy passed around is that work taken without asking.

Everything comes from danielnewmanracing.com and nowhere else. A DNR file from any other source is not one we put there, we cannot tell you what is in it, and using it voids your right to use it at all.

Every file, design and line of code on this site belongs to Daniel Newman Racing. Anything this agreement does not expressly give you, we keep.

Everything is provided as is. Sim racing runs on a long chain of other people's software, and we cannot warrant how our work behaves against every combination of sim, SimHub build and hardware in the world.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage arising from use of these materials, including lost data, hardware problems or a sim that will not start.

Nothing in that paragraph touches your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any equivalent consumer law where you live. Those cannot be signed away, and we are not trying to.

Free downloads involve no purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.

Paid commercial licences carry the usual 14 day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless you asked for immediate access at checkout and agreed to give that right up.

Your licence ends automatically, and you have to stop using the materials and delete your copies. We would much rather send you a message than get to that point, so if you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask first.

This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.

If you live somewhere whose consumer law says otherwise, that law wins. We are a British company with customers all over the world and we are not trying to strip anyone of protections they have at home.
