Can my deck keys flash with flags and the pit limiter like my LEDs?
Yes. The deck runs the same telemetry effects as your LED devices, in time with them, and you switch them on in Daniel Newman Racing > DNR Control Decks under Telemetry Effects.
- Pit Limiter. While the limiter is on, the keys alternate by row between your two pit limiter colours, matching your LEDs.
- Engine Start. When the engine fires, the keys play a one off spark shower that lights up, holds and fades, using your engine start colour and animation time.
- Spotters. When a car is alongside, the left or right column flashes the spotter colour on the corresponding side.
- Flags. While a flag is shown, every key flashes the flag colour, in time with your wheel and button box. Black, safety car and chequered are drawn as a checkerboard. It uses the same flags and blink speed as your LED settings.
- Redline Flash. At the redline every key flashes your wheel redline colour, using the same per car redline data as your dashboard. Off by default, because a constant flash distracts some drivers.
Each block has an Edit Universal Settings link, because these settings apply to all devices at once.
If your deck is mounted on its side, set Mounting Orientation to Vertical. The pit limiter and spotter effects then flash across the top and bottom rows instead of the left and right columns, so they still line up with the track.
These effects only play on DNR keys. A DNR icon used on another plugin's key is just a picture and will not flash.
