How do DNR Control Decks work?
Control Decks put DNR on an Elgato Stream Deck, a Ulanzi Deck or a Mirabox Stream Dock. The keys flash your telemetry effects and show your live data as you drive, on art that matches your dashboards and LEDs, so you can hit the key the moment it matters.
Think of it as three things at once: glance, so your keys show live data; react, so they flash the same effects your LEDs do; and control, so flags, spotters, pit limiter, presets and brightness are all bound to a key.
Set it up on Daniel Newman Racing > DNR Control Decks. Your keys appear the moment you plug in. The page settings include:
- Control Deck Orientation and Mounting Orientation, for a deck mounted on its side or upside down
- Telemetry Effects, the same flags, spotters, engine start, pit limiter and redline options the LED devices have, sharing the Universal settings so an effect means the same thing everywhere
- Redline Behaviour and Last Gear Redline, using either DNR Redline Values or SimHub per car settings
- Focus iRacing For Typed Commands, which matters because some deck actions type into the game
If the page says No deck connected or No deck software found on this PC, install your deck manufacturer's own software first, then the DNR deck plugin for that hardware.
