How do the marshal flag LED animations work?
Marshal flag animations light your devices in the flag's colour. They are switched on per device, on the Effects tab of each page, and the flags themselves are chosen in the shared Universal Flags Settings.
The flags available are Yellow, Green, Blue, White Slow Car, White Final Lap, Red, Black, Orange (Meatball), Debris, Safety Car and Checkered.
Useful controls:
- Flags Blink Frequency sets the flashing speed
- Flags in Pit Lane chooses between Always Visible and Flags Deactivated in the Pit Lane
- Flags Visible Yellow Sector chooses whether a yellow shows from the whole track or only in your current sector
- Flags Priority decides whether flags or the proximity spotter wins when both want the LEDs at once
- Checkered Flag Duration and White Flag Final Lap Duration cap how long those animations run
- Toggle Blue Flag and Toggle White Slow Car Flag turn individual flags off if you find them distracting
On a steering wheel or button box a flag typically lights all the buttons in the flag's colour. On a matrix flag box the flag is drawn on the matrix, and when running a pair you can choose whether critical flags appear on both boxes or only the left.
