What colour themes are available for my LEDs?

Every LED device shares the same theme list, so a wheel, a button box and a flag box can all wear the same look.

Built in themes: DNR, Heritage, Racing, Red Fade, Blue Fade, Green Fade, Yellow Fade, Orange Fade, Purple Fade, Pink Fade, White Fade, Arctic, Sunset, Rainbow, Citrus, Tokyo, Gulf Oil, Bubblegum, Neon, Retro, Octane, Aurora, Nebula, Peacock, Candycane, Solstice, Tricolore, Sakura, Cyber and Velvet. DNR is the house colours and the default: orange across the top of the device, red across the middle, blue across the bottom. Heritage is the red, white and blue look that was called DNR until September 2026. Bubblegum, Neon, Retro, Octane, Aurora, Nebula, Peacock, Candycane, Solstice, Tricolore, Sakura, Cyber and Velvet follow the same top, middle, bottom rule in their own colours: the plugin sorts a device's lights into rows from the top down and cuts them into three groups of as near as possible equal size, never splitting a row, so one theme fits every wheel and box. The lit position of a rotary ring takes a colour of the theme's own choosing, blue on DNR, so it stands out from the ring. Racing, Arctic, Sunset, Rainbow, Citrus, Tokyo, Gulf Oil and Heritage are painted by hand per device instead. Button boxes also carry a Precision Sim Engineering theme, and flag box gear numbers add a Lovely Dashboard theme.

Custom is the one option that unlocks per button, per rotary and per LED colours. If you want to colour individual inputs yourself, this is the theme you need.

Each device has three theme slots, on their own tabs:

• Idle Theme, shown when SimHub is running but no game is active
• Game Theme, shown once a game session has launched
• Button Effects, where the per input colours live

The Custom Theme Helper builds a theme for you: pick one, two or three colours and it generates a full custom palette from them. Since plugin 7.2 the Idle Theme on a wheel or a button box can also move: the Idle Animation line under the theme bar gives it a Style, a Speed and an Unlit buttons choice, and the animation only changes brightness, never the theme's colours.
