DNR has vanished from SimHub. How do I get it back?

Nothing is lost, and this is not a failed install. SimHub keeps its own list of which plugin lives in which file. If SimHub cannot read our file on one single startup, which is most likely during an update, it quietly drops DNR off that list and stops showing it anywhere: not in the menu down the left, and not in add/remove features either. There is no error message, which is exactly why it looks like the plugin has uninstalled itself. It has not. Your settings, your presets and your LED profiles are all still on the PC.

Clearing that list is the fix, and it takes about a minute.

1. Close SimHub completely. Check the system tray by the clock as well, because SimHub often keeps running after the window is closed.
2. Delete this one file: C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\PluginsData\Common\ResolveCache.json. If your SimHub is installed somewhere else, the file is at PluginsData\Common\ResolveCache.json inside your own SimHub folder. It is SimHub's own cache, there is nothing of yours in it, and SimHub writes a fresh one the next time it starts.
3. Start SimHub. If a window titled New plugins have been detected comes up, tick Daniel Newman Racing and press Ok.
4. If no window appears, open SimHub's add/remove features screen, where the additional plugins are listed. Daniel Newman Racing should now be there. Tick it, turn on Show in left main menu as well, and restart SimHub.

DNR will be back in the menu down the left, signed in, with every setting as you left it.

If it is still not there

• Reinstall with SimHub properly closed. The installer cannot replace files SimHub has open, and when SimHub is running it looks like nothing happened. Close it, run DNR_SimHub_Plugin_Installer.exe from Downloads on danielnewmanracing.com, then start SimHub.
• Update SimHub itself from simhubdash.com and restart it. An old SimHub is the most common reason something new does not appear.
• Still missing? Open a support ticket and say which plugin version you were on and whether it went after an update. If you can reach the plugin at all, send a Diagnostics bundle with it.
