A rig took a fleet setup and I want its old settings back

Yes, on the rig itself.

Every rig keeps a copy of its own settings from before it ever took a fleet setup. To put them back, open the DNR plugin on that machine, go to Enterprise, Fleet, and use Restore under "What this rig receives".

It also leaves that machine out of fleet setups, in the same action. That is not optional and it is not tidiness: the published setup is still newer than the rig, so without it the next SimHub start would apply the setup again and you would lose your settings a second time. Untick it when you want that rig to follow the floor again.

Why the copy is taken before the first setup and never rewritten. The state worth keeping is what the machine looked like before Enterprise touched it. If it were rewritten on every apply, the second one would replace your real settings with a copy of the first fleet setup.

Two things worth knowing

  • A rig that applied a fleet setup before this feature shipped has no copy, so there is nothing to restore on it.
  • There is no unpublish button on the website, deliberately. Removing a published setup cannot un-apply it: every rig that already took it keeps it. If you published something wrong, fix the rig and publish again, which brings the whole floor back together in one action.

The surest prevention is the opt-out. Any machine that should never follow the floor should have Leave this machine out of fleet setups ticked before anybody publishes.
