Put your venue's logo on every rig
Upload them once on the website and every rig picks them up.
Go to Dashboard, Enterprise, Branding. There are two independent images and you can set either on its own:
- Your logo, shown on the idle screen of the DNR dashboards. A PNG with a transparent background looks best on the dark idle screen. Aim for 600px wide or more, up to 4MB. There is no need to match a screen size, because each dashboard scales it to fit.
- Your background, which fills the idle screen behind the logo. A wide, dark, low contrast photo works best, because your logo and the dashboard's own readouts sit on top of it. Aim for 1920px wide, up to 16MB. A JPG is usually a fraction of the size of the same photo as a PNG.
How the background is cropped. Each dashboard covers its own screen, so it crops your picture to fit. The Branding page draws a coloured guide for every layout so you can see exactly what survives on each: Regular 1280x720, XL 1920x720, Chrono 762x260, Wide 1920x600 and UXL 1920x480. Keep anything that matters inside the smallest guide. The plugin's own Branding page shows the same guides.
On the rigs. Each machine keeps its own copy on disk, so your idle screens still carry your branding when the internet does not. A change on the website reaches a running rig within about a minute, without restarting SimHub, and removing an image clears it the same way.
It cannot be set at the machine. On an Enterprise rig the plugin replaces the local image picker with a note saying the branding is managed on your dashboard, so nobody at the rig can point it somewhere else.
