This policy explains when refunds are available for software and subscriptions purchased from Daniel Newman Racing Ltd (“DNR”, “we”, “us”) via danielnewmanracing.com. It sits alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law and does not replace them.

1. Digital software — your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, UK and EU consumers normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase for any reason.

For digital software, this right is lost once the download or access begins, provided you have given your express consent and acknowledged the loss of this right at checkout. By ticking the consent box during purchase, you request immediate access and waive your 14-day cancellation right from the moment supply begins.

If you have not yet downloaded or accessed the software, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Contact us at support@danielnewmanracing.com with your order number.

2. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals — it does not refund the current billing period, except where required by law (see Section 4).

Where a subscription includes downloadable software, the cancellation rights in Section 1 apply to the initial purchase.

3. Faulty, misdescribed, or non-functional software

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected by this policy. If the software:

  • does not work as described,
  • is not of satisfactory quality, or
  • is not fit for the purpose we said it was suitable for,

you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. Please contact us with details of the issue and we will work with you to resolve it.

4. Goodwill refunds

Outside the circumstances above, refunds are at our discretion. We may offer a partial or full refund in exceptional cases — please get in touch and explain your situation.

5. Chargebacks

If you believe a refund is due, please contact us first. Initiating a chargeback without giving us a chance to resolve the issue may result in suspension of your account and access to our software.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@danielnewmanracing.com with:

  • your order number,
  • the email address used to purchase, and
  • a brief explanation of your request.

We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

7. Business customers

Purchases made in the course of a business are not covered by consumer cancellation rights. Refunds for business customers are governed by our Terms of Sale.
