What does Track Rivals share online, and what stays on my PC?
Track Rivals separates what lives on your PC from what goes to your community leaderboards, and both are under your control on Daniel Newman Racing > Track Rivals Settings.
Local data, stored on this PC:
- Record my laps on this PC turns local recording on or off
- Record achievements turns medal tracking on or off. With it off, the Achievements page says achievement tracking is paused
- Back up lap data to a file and Restore lap data from cloud
- Reset local Track Rivals data, which is permanent and cannot be undone
Shared data, your community leaderboards:
- Share my lap times online is the switch that puts you on the boards at all
- How you appear on leaderboards controls the name other drivers see
- Remove my shared records takes your times off the boards
- Restore achievements from cloud, and Reset achievements, which re-locks your earned medals
The two are independent: you can record locally and share nothing, so you keep your own history without appearing on any board. Anything permanent is labelled as permanent on the page before you press it.
