The Daniel Newman Racing LED profiles are PACKED with some of the most advanced features available to enable you to hit the track with everything you could possibly need to get yourself onto the podium.
Proudly, and no matter how many devices you use, DNR profiles will work harmoniously together, delivering the absolute best user experience and enabling LED syncronisation across your entire Simulator.
Committed to keeping Sim Racing accessible to all, both a 'basic' FREE version and an 'advanced' PAID MEMBERSHIP version of the RPMs profile is available to download. Shown below is a more elaborate explanation and list of features included within the DNR ecosystem, and what both the options will provide you. Have fun!
Note: The 'basic' FREE profiles offered by Daniel Newman Racing ensure that advanced LED functionality remains accessible to all. Given its FREE nature, this unpaid version does not have an update release cycle and is unlikely to feature from any signifant development. For updates and future feature additions, please consider the PAID membership version listed further down this page.
For when the car specific data is not your thing, 3 Generic RPMs options (Left to Right, Meet in the Middle, F1 Style) are included to allow you to have an RPM bar to your taste.
What’s more, you are able to select from one of 15 different colour options for those RPMs allowing you to match them to your SIM rig theme of choice.
Proximity based, so the spotter flashes slower when cars are a distance away, and faster as cars get closer. So not only do you know someone is to the side of you, you know HOW close they are too!
Braking too hard and loosing valuable lap time at the corner? Car oversteering or understeering and the TC kicking in to correct it loosing you time in that fast chicane? With ABS in yellow and TC in blue, youll get an indication on both your RPM and Brow profiles showing you when either status is active helping you know when its time to back off just a little bit.
Lots to unpick here! You’ll have your usual blue and white pit limiter when engaged, but when in the pit lane your RPM bar will flash red when no limiter is engaged, blue when it is and green when its time to disengage and floor it! You’ll also get a flashing red warning to let you know if you speed in the pit lane. The Pit Lane Assists are also shown on the Matrix Flag boxes with appropriate animations telling you when to slow down, speed up or what your pit status is.
To let you know when that engine is ready (or not!)
Because in open wheelers, opening the flap can be the difference between winning and loosing. You need to know DRS is available and also active at that precise moment, and we’re here for it!
An intuitive and user customisable feature that displays a progressive LED/s that increase in brightness intensity as your brake pressure increases, before flashing to tell you that you’re at your desired (and user configured) maximum pressure. You can use this feature to help you learn to brake harder (or softer), allowing you to fine tune muscle memory before ABS or TC kicks in ultimately making you a faster driver.
When the fuel is low, you need to know, so your DDU will provide a low fuel animation to tell you its time to pit!
There is nothing more complicated, or troublesome than editing LED profiles within SimHub directly to turn on and off features as you wish. To make the DNR experience as trouble free and easy as possible, whilst also keeping your precious set up time to a bare minimum, the Daniel Newman Racing online configurator tool allows you to customise and configure your DNR profile settings.
At the click of a button, you can toggle your favourite effects ON/OFF and remove the worry of mistakes.
One of the most important things to DNR, and one of the initial fundamental reasons it became ‘a thing’ is the need to see profiles working symbolically and in unison. So having 2 devices both with different colours, or shift timings was not only poorly optimal but it looked terrible in an expensive simulator. ALL DNR profiles work symbolically together providing perfect harmony. As an example, when you activate True Dark Mode, all devices switch in sync, or when you hit the cars redline, they all hit it together.
For ALL iRacing vehicles. Each car you drive will match precisely whats in game. This will ensure you are shifting at the most optimal of time points making you the fastest you can be! (iRacing data courtesy of Yoep De Ligt).
In ADDITION to all of the exciting features above, Daniel Newman Racing members can also take advantage of the following:
Profile customisations are really important at Daniel Newman Racing as we understand not everyones racing needs and tastes are the same. For this reason ALL profiles are packed with user selectable options and settings. To make this as enjoyable and as simple as possible, members benefit from the Daniel Newman Racing SimHub LED plug in, which allows users to make INSTANT changes to their LED profile options, unlike with the free version where a customisable JSON file needs to be used. The SimHub Plug In simplifies profile changes whilst keeping them INSTANT, where as the JSON file adds a level of complexity and difficulty also requiring SimHub restarts between changes making it more cumbersome and less intuitive.
For ALL Assetto Corsa Competitizone vehicles. Each car you drive will match precisely whats in game. This will ensure you are shifting at the most optimal of time points making you the fastest you can be! Not only will you be able to match each cars RPM values and colours during the day, but in night time True Dark Mode driving, youll benefit from TDM colour matched RPMs too!
For ALL Le Mans Ultimate vehicles.
For ALL EA Sports F1 2024. Each car you drive will match precisely whats in game. This will ensure you are shifting at the most optimal of time points making you the fastest you can be!
In todays world of Sim Racing, it is not unusual to have a Wheel with built in RPM lights and a DDU with its own RPM lights behind it. Why display the same data twice? With the DNR RPM Companion, you can set either of your devices to display a different set of data giving you more instant telemetry. Options like Brake Force, Throttle/Brake Input & Fuel Level can be selected.
The default colours given to effects in DNR profiles are either FIA approved colour, or colours that match up with our partnered Lovely Dashboard, so out of the box they work the best they can. In some instances, users prefer to select their own colours of alerts such as ERS, ABS, TC etc, and so this is possible via the DNR SimHub plugin.
In a world of Electric superpower, you want to know what your KERS State of Charge level is at right? You want to see when its deploying and regenerating? We've got you. We also show Push to Pass for you iRacers!
A blockbuster feature that turns all LEDs on every device into a monochrome theme with 4 different colour options (Red, Blue, Purple, Orange), for night time endurance driving.
True Dark Mode has the option of car specific or generic RPM data for both Assetto Corsa Competitizone & Le Mans Ultimate. For all other SIMs it uses generic RPMs only.
True Dark Mode provides a night time and endurance driving experience and it happens automatically (when enabled), in Assetto Corsa Competitizone when turning on headlights. In all other SIMs it happens semi automatically and uses a user configurable hotkey to enable and disable.
Isn’t it great when stuff ‘just works’? We know that Lovely Dashboard is the industry standard when it comes to DDU and Wheel displays, so DNR profiles are built to integrate seamlessly with it. Many of the DNR settings are AUTOMATICALLY taken from the Lovely Dashboard JSON settings file without your input, giving you the best experience.
For example, if you change your True Dark Mode colour in the Lovely Dashboard settings file, guess what? It changes in DNR to match AUTOMATICALLY.
